Back in the saddle again
Last night in the jail attorney-client visiting booth:
"Hi, I'm John and I'll be your public defender this evening."
"Oh, didn't they tell you? My family hired me a real lawyer."
YAY! Now I really feel like I'm back in business!

Is it wrong to gloat when a client "fires" you and then gets absolutely screwed by an incompetent private attorney? I suppose it is not their fault--they have no way of kowing who is good and who isn't.
