The Thurston County Prosecutor's Office has decided not to use breath-test evidence that was called into question by problems at the state toxicology laboratory, affecting an unspecified number of local drunken-driving cases...
A recent ruling against the state's evidence by judges in Clark County was particularly convincing, Thurston County Senior Deputy Prosecutor Jim Powers said... "It's just, in their opinion, not appropriate to be offering evidence that resulted from these kinds of practices.
